Russian Minor

The Russian Minor at BYU consists of two years of intensive language study (beginning in Russ 101) and a study abroad program.

If you enter the Russian program at a 300-level, instead of a Russian minor, you are advised to work towards a Russian Language Certificate.

If you have completed a minimum of 18 months of a full-time Russian-speaking mission, took RUSS 330, and passed a Russian Challenge Exam, you have expedited your progress towards a Russian major.

To declare a Russian minor, contact the Russian Undergraduate Advisor, Dr. Jordan.
